by DARIA ARTSYBASHEVA

Hi! My name is Daria. I am a wife, a mom of two girls, and a believer in the magic of photography. I am a fun-loving, excitable chatterer, and I love getting to know new people!

I have over 12 years of professional photography experience.

Becoming a mom helped me to become a better photographer, because it comes with the understanding of how important every season and every phase is.

I approach my work with each unique couple in mind, creating an experience that is all about you. My photography is romantic, joyful, and timeless, with an editorial style that is full of beautiful light and natural emotion. I specialize in romantic, whimsical, elegant weddings. I can’t wait to hear from you, listen to your story, and create something special together!

Too many people have told me ours are the best wedding photos they have ever seen for it to be just flattery. Daria knew what we wanted, and was honest enough to tell us what she needed to do to capture that. The result was a series of spontaneous moments captured to make a dazzling whole, which tells the story of the day perfectly...

Daria, our photos are so amazing. I absolutely love them! Really, you are incredible – they have surpassed all our expectations – I found it so hard to pick my faves and I can’t stop looking at them! The portraits of us are so beautiful -that light! Incredible. We will treasure them for ever. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I don’t even know where to start... I can’t believe how perfect our wedding pictures are. You have exceeded all our expectations, we love them! You saw our vision and totally delivered. Your attention to detail, your angles, and the images with the really different lighting and shadows are so amazing, I’m still soaking them all in. Besides, your second photographer is so creative as well! This was an amazing experience!Thank you again!

  • WHAT’S YOUR STYLE FOR FAMILY PHOTO SESSIONS?

My style is a blend of fine art and lifestyle photography. I have a degree in fine art and I love to document family time in a natural, timeless fashion. I keep my formal portraits to a minimum and have a relaxed style to capture a swift moment in a beautiful way!

  • WHAT’S YOUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

I call it Illustrative photography. Basically it is mixture of styles. You won't get just documentary or only traditional images. I mix and match depending on your wedding style and personalities.

Rather then constantly posing your pictures, I follow you and your guests throughout the wedding day, capturing events as they unfold in order to tell the story of your wedding. My goal is to fade into the background and become “invisible” to the crowd in order to get these candid or unposed shots. And this style of photography is called documentary.

However I photograph in traditional style as well to make sure you and your families get photographs to frame. Usually we have dedicated time for the traditional portrait session. I work from a “shot list,” ensuring we cover all the elements the bride and groom have requested. To make sure every detail of the shots is perfect, my assistants and I not only adjust our equipment, but also the background, the subject’s body alignment, and even the attire.

Besides I do editorial photographs - images of the venue, locations, rings, flowers, table setups, all the fun and important details.

Couples interested in a more edgy result may prefer Fine Art Portraiture, with its dramatic lighting, unique angles and European flavor.

  • HOW FAR IN  ADVANCE DO YOUR CLIENTS TYPICALLY BOOK YOU?

Portrait sessions are usually booked at least 3 weeks prior to the sesion.

Wedding photography is a different story! Most of my clients book me between 12-24 months prior to their wedding for the more popular wedding months, but I sometimes take weddings with less lead time. Since I take a limited number of weddings per year, these dates can go quickly.

  • DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE SHOOTING IN VARIOUS LIGHTING SITUATIONS?

Absolutely! Over the course of my 12 years of shooting weddings I have had to work with all types of lighting (and weather)! I always try to find the beautiful natural light if available but I also have lights that I bring with me and can set up.

  • YOU’RE THE PHOTOGRAPHER FOR US! HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING OR PORTRAIT DATE?

Send me an email or give me a call! We can chat about which package works best for you. Once we decide I require a deposit and a signed contract to hold your date.
